Fox Chapter ANG

On April 22, members of the ANG Fox Chapter of Illinois gathered at the Crystal Lake Country Club for the Annual Fox Luncheon.  Fox members and their guests were treated to an outstanding exhibit of needlepoint including framed pieces, pillows, and ornaments, to name a few.  A delightful meal was enjoyed by all, including door prizes and recognition for our wonderful volunteers.  The much anticipated 2023 – 2024 Programs were revealed for the upcoming guild year.  It was a lovely afternoon filled with laughter, friendship, and the love of needlepoint.

We had our Holiday party in November, and it was a great success! A big thank you goes to all of the wonderful people that put the event together!

We have been blessed as a group to have Nancy Cucci as one of our members, and she has taught many classes with us. This last week we were privileged to be able to attend her Anniversary Heart class. If you are new to our group, this class is called a ‘pilot class’. We were given the opportunity to stitch this before Nancy actually teaches the class at this year’s Seminar. Students in the pilot group help by looking carefully over the printed pattern for any typing or graph errors, and we are definitely willing to be Nancy’s dry run for teaching the class!
